Keeper / Junior Keeper Experience
Have you ever wondered what it takes to be a zoo keeper and care for exotic animals? Fancy finding out? Well here’s your chance! Zoo2U are now able to offer keeper experiences for anyone aged 13 and over. We also offer a junior keeper experience for the little zoologists in your family, ages 6 – 12!
The 3 hour (junior 2 and ½ hr) experience takes place at our Zoo2U Discovery Centre in Alsager (Cheshire). You will encounter a variety of exotic creatures during your experience that you will learn about and get involved in their daily husbandry and care. Whether it’s bathing a tortoise, nail clipping a hedgehog, feeding a snake or creating fun enrichment for the meerkats! No two experiences will be the same but all experiences will be extremely hands on, informative and fun!
You will have a choice from the following:
Standard Package - £69 for 1 person, or £115 for 2 people:
Mammals or
Reptiles
Premium Package - £89 for 1 person, or £145 for 2 people:
Mammals, Reptiles and Invertebrates
Zoo2U will run your Keeper experience at a date and time that is convenient to you. However due to the Zoo2U outreach commitments we recommend you book early and provide a list of 3 - 5 preferred dates. We will then get in touch and confirm the best date for everyone!

Spectators: While watching from the sidelines, you will be able to take pictures throughout the experience. Please note that flash photography is not permitted. There will be a £10 fee for each spectator
