Charlotte has always loved animals and loved watching documentaries as a child. This grew into a passion and, after taking a year out of education to thoroughly explore the opportunities available, she went on to complete a BSc (Hons) in Zoo Animal Management. She has since gone on to work at several different collections with many different species. A good number of years has been spent working with primates.
2016 saw the arrival of some new members of staff, Charlotte and Jess. Charlotte is a fantastic girl with a massive heart and passion for animals and Jess is a budding artist keen to impress with her knowledge of beasties. These girls are old friends having met in Cub Scouts and ending up in university together. Their paths went two different routes afterwards as Charlotte went onto work with primates and Jess with birds. They both came to us this year and it has strengthened their bond, bouncing off each other during the occasions they did visits with our amazing animals.
